Just my two cents: I don't see any real issue here. It's simply two knowledgeable folks on different ends of the audio preference spectrum sharing their honest opinions. We've seen this kind of back-and-forth hundreds of times across this forum and others.

Boys will be boys!! :P

Expressing opinions is important. If a member posts (and they do often) that they purchased a new widget and found it beneficial. That's great. What is wrong with someone else posting their opinion that they found that widget not beneficial. What is the problem here?
Yes, we all hear things differently. My problem manufacturers keep brainwashing the audio public that they have a new product that gets audiophiles closer to an ideal that can't be reached. They have to bring out new products to survive. Reviewers have to keep writing to survive. It's all sophistry.
