This might be perfectly acceptable.....but it might be worth a discussion.

All,
I seem to remember I was the one who setup that group on Facebook, and both Stuart and I acted as admins. In a fit of frustration and annoyance with Facebook on a personal level (really tired of a constant stream of Facebook notifications to "like" something or accept friend requests from people I do not know filling up my Inbox), as well as the lack of any concern or moderation of extremes of political discourse from a corporate standpoint, I made the decision to quit Facebook in protest and deleted my account. The unintended fall out of that decision apparently is the orphaning of the DCAudioDIY group.
I really do not miss Facebook, except where I need to access a resource that is posted on it. Personally, I never really participated much, though I have friends who seem to live their lives on Facebook. Do I really want my privacy violated and my personal information data mined? Google is bad enough, but at least it is useful on a day-to-day basis.
Sorry.

Hi David,
There are certainly some very good reasons to leave the situation as it is.
The fact that no one noticed between October 2020 and now is telling.
Bruce.

I don't think it makes any sense to have two unrelated faces for the group... If we want to have a Facebook presence, it ought to do nothing but send people here....
Unless, of course, people would rather do the whole thing on Facebook

What's this Facebook you're talking about? Sounds like it should be avoided.

Roscoe,
The Facebook group was created before you setup this discussion board (i.e, when all we had was the listserv). There is no reason for it now, it can lay in its' cold hard grave.
