Welcome. There are at least three of the group right in your area. Included are some who make their own electronics and speakers. Maybe we can not only help you with the electronics but convert you to speaker construction in one of your weaker moments. In the next few months I will be working on high resolution digital files with DSP and several DACS.

Glad to hear that. I'm afraid that woodworking is not my cup of tea. I do metalworking out of necessity, I already have too much in electronics (analog design, digital design, embedded programming, PCB design, high-speed design, EMI considerations, general engineering). I wonder if there is a place where I can order an aluminum case, anodized, with silk screen completely by my specs.
I'm curious, why would you need a DSP? Room correction?

I'm using DSP for crossover in a tri amped systesm, notch filtering for a cavity resonance in my RD75 planar magnetic drivers, time alignment of the three sections and overall base EQ. There is not much room correction as that is a very difficult thing to do. If you make one spot better you make another worse. I'm doing two seminars at the Capital Audiofest on Friday the 25th which partially addresses this.
As far as prototype cases, I am planning to use this company later this year for the DSP project I'm doing for the magazine.
