Paul, Couple of years ago you posted pics of small bell type of resonators you saw in an audio show. Can find the post. Do you remember what those are?

Are you talking about the shallow horn shaped rings you mounted on baffle around the speakers opening.
It is funny I was thinking about them recently and could not remember wher I found them
Sounds like a good idea to try to get the baffle out of the way

Found it.

Was reading up on Helmholtz resonator corner bass traps. Remembered the resonators you saw.

Oh I remember that. Not much to say other than anything you attach to a horn will probably do something

TroyAudio has no mention of those resonators on their website anymore.

And these:

But have never heard a demonstration.

Perhaps at a future meet, attendees can bring along their own 'thingie' that may or may not change the sound. If I can attend I would bring the thimbles with small holes in random sizes arranged in a special pattern that were mentioned in the old thread.

https://www.amazon.com/LGEGE-silver-Vintage-Thimbles-Thimble/dp/B01FCWEJ98/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1539438160&sr=8-3&keywords=Sewing+Thimbles&dpID=51p2z-RECOL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch

If I can't attend, I will attend virtually and spread the thimbles around my listening room and the effect will be split into packets and transmitted via the internet to the listening room where you are all gathered. I am sure the effect will be quite noticeable.

Was it that crazy company Synagistic Research that has these tiny little metal cups that sell for outrageous prices that one mount on the walls around the sound room to improve the sound.
I mean these things are about 1/4 inch high and wide. What could these things could do?
