I have a Emotiva XP-2 power amp that I am not currently using -

If anyone has some speakers that require lots of power and wish to experiment I would happily loan the amplifier to them. Note that the amp weighs 105 lbs.

Are you interested in selling or trading it?

Make an offer. Note that I ran it on a 220V 10A line for 120V you should have a 20A line. Look at Audioholics link.

Also I ran single ended input. To get rid of hum I used a star ground. I connected the ground of the XPR-2 to the circuit ground of my preamp. Then there was no audible hum. I would also loan it before selling or trading it to make sure it works well in your system.

I'll be selling a set of speakers I built that were in a three part series of audioXPress magazine that started in November 2013. They are three ways with Heil AMT 1 tweeters, the midrange used in the Legacy Signature SE, and 12" Dayton Ultimax woofers in the enclosure that was originally used in the Acarian Alon IV speaker. The article showed my speaker with the Eton 7" midrange but I replaced that with the 8" Legacy driver as it has better performance. Currently it is wired for tri-amping but I can help you build a passive crossover if you would like. Let me know if you would like to trade for them. Here are some photos.

I am spending all my spare time perfecting the dsp crossover for my current system -

otherwise I would be very interested in swapping. I also really do not have room for two main systems. Again, I could loan you the XPR-2 until you sell your system. Would you plan on using the XPR-2 in your open baffle servo subwoofer?
