Rocoe's is too far out in the wilds of Virginia for me. If you want the tuner you have to come to beautiful Silver Spring -

I will figure something out to pick it up. Is any Maryland'er able to pick it up and bring it?

Don't forget about Roscoe's meet in August anyway. He's cooking meat.

The nice thing about this is the ability to rotate the elements and get max signal, min multipath.
I stripped out the amplifier guts, and it's just a passive unit now. Fine for urban/suburban zones.
Basic antenna is 300 ohm. Adding a 75 ohm balun reduces signal level and quality by just a bit.

If the pics don't coe through, just look at the DCDIY Facebook page.

I also have an DIY digital TV antenna. It needs a ground plane attached to the pvc frame. Output is 75 Ohm coax.
