I've got a small, quick, easy to use single-HDD NAS that's similar to what is mentioned in this thread: http://www.dcaudiodiy.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=541
It's a great way to get dedicated storage space for your laptop-based audio system, especially where you may be using an older machine with a small internal HDD.

$5.00 plus actual shipping costs to your door.

I can add a 750GB HDD (WD Black) to it for you, for an additional $25,

I wrote an article abput it here, so I won't repeat myself....

The only caveat is that I have not tested it on any Apple systems and don't even know if it will work with them......

Great way to go. If you want USB3 connectivity and 2.5" drive form factor here is another way to go"
