What if the DSP shit was a ASUS Essence STX II 7.1 sound card?

I apologize that I do not like DSP for anything other than subwoofers.

What don't you like about DSP? I haven't played with it and am just curious.
I suspect it will be next year before my stuff arrives in Australia. I've got plenty of time to think about things.

Are there any interesting audio brands in Australia and you are closer to Japan, Taiwan, and Korea.

I don't know too much about the audio scene here, particularly DIY. The good news is that there is a nationwide chain called Jaycar that sells all sorts of stuff for amp building. I was talking to a young bloke at the store last week and they even have tube sockets. Think Radio Shack on steroids.
https://www.jaycar.com.au/And I can still order from Mouser with free shipping on orders over AU $60.

This is my personal opinion. I think I can hear digital artifacts, even with the praised DEOX systems.
This goes back to the measurements over listening debate. Either you are Red or Blue and the two cannot get along
