I have been using the DEQX Express II as the center piece of my main system for years and love it. Their support is also great.

For our Aussie member the unofficial national anthem of Australia -

Thank you for thinking of me but the link is more about Gallipoli than the traditional version of Waltzing Matilda which only sounds genuine when it is sung by a bunch of drunken Aussies,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkurIfcyihk

or by schoolchildren who clearly enjoy singing the song.

The following site has the first recorded version of the song along with many other recorded versions.

https://www.nfsa.gov.au/latest/waltzing-matilda

In 1974, Waltzing Matilda came second to Advance Australia Fair in a plebiscite asking what the National Anthem should be to replace God Save the Queen. Advance Australia Fair is an abomination of a stilted official song and Waltzing Matilda is now sung at some international sporting events.

Somehow I think I have digressed a little from the Craigslist topic. My apologies.

I live for digressions. How about "Son of a Scoundrel" -

To be honest, I have never heard of it.

When I was young, nobody spoke of their convict ancestry, probably because genealogy was not common back then. A couple of years ago, my wife discovered that one of my ancestors was a convict who went on to do well.

I am fairly ignorant of much of what happened in Australia between 1984 and when easy use of the internet arrived in the mid-nineties. I used to read the New York Times on Sundays during that period and I reckoned that Australia would have to sink before it might be mentioned on page 5 of that publication.

For DCaudiodiy I would suggest this as a theme song -

Servo sub amp for OB sub:

I've looked at the stuff many times and keep thinking about it. I've even corresponded with the guy - super nice btw.

However, the more I read about Hawthrone online, the more discouraged I become about purchasing this. While they are supposed to sound "good" and "nice" and "etc." - aparently there wan't much science put into the passive crossover design. And those that have gone down the OB route think there are far more superior options out there.

I think thats is a nice plate amp though. If he had a pair of plate amps for sale, I would purchase. I don't know......I've been enjoying stereo subs for music playback and just don't see myself going back.

:-) I should have known you'd already scoped them out. My very first thought was, "now if he was selling a pair of those servo sub amps..."

I'd like trying a pair of the OB subs from GR Research.

I enjoy the GR-Research OB H-Frame Servo 2x12's I built for use with the speakers Danny calls the Super Mini's. I call them the Monoliths with my version digital crossover instead of the passive XO Danny has with his kit.

The A370PEQ servo amps are the Class AB 370w version and the HX300 is the Class D 300w version servo amps for the same GR OB drivers. As long as it has the OB mod for the open baffle servo woofers it should work well. Rythmik can mod the amp if it was for a sealed cab for OB use.

Here is a picture Paul took at CAF2018 of the pair of speakers I built.

I spoke with Rythmik about the amp.

I learned it has to been used with a servo subwoofer driver. I was told by Brian (at Rythmik) that you can't just hook it up to any driver. I mean you can - but it would severely compromise performance.

I already have too many unfinished projects at this point and just have very little desire to purchase an additional (servo) driver to start a new project.

The good thing about the amp is it can be used to build a relatively small sealed subwoofer. It would have limited output, but if one didn't listen particularly loud and needed a sub to pair with some small bookshelves, it could be a nice option.
