Hi everyone. I'm Craig just another broke hifi enthusiast & I live in Germantown, MD. I saw a comment about this place in a Stereophile review of day 1 of the Capital Audiofest. I'll be at the show tomorrow (Sunday). I am the world's worst solderer & I hope to learn a lot from here. Oh yeah, I'm an analog purist. Looking forward to the show tomorrow.

Craig

Hi Craig:

I live just down the road in North Potomac. I'm more of a digital guy but would be happy to share experiences with you.

Hi, Craig, while you may consider yourself a broke, audiophile, I too am a member of that club! However, that does NOT mean you can't get GREAT sound on he cheap, my system is evidence of that! IF you want to come by sometime or ask any questions, feel free to hit me up! I think your going to enjoy this! Randy

Welcome, Craigh!
It's good to meet new members! As Randy said, you can learn how and where to concentrate your limited budgets by talking with others in this group - you can learn what to do, not to do, and whether you want to go that far. I think you'll be glad you're here!

Good to have you on board, Craigh. I listen mostly to analog; if not simply FM it is mostly open reel tapes. I have heard both bad and good from both digital and analog. I live in Potomac, so closer to you than many in this group. A lot of folks here can offer help and advice. Often the advice is conflicts between those giving it. And sometimes the advice is worth what you pay for it.
