Post subject:  Hello all!

Hi all,
I'm Pete. I accumulate lots of hifi stuff and then find I have limited time to mess with it! My favorites at the moment are Altec 755Cs in JE Labs baffles (hello Joseph!), driven by a pair of Bottlehead Afterglow amps I built from the original S.E.X. kits, and modified slightly to accept 45 instead of 2A3 output tubes, and now with adapters to use 46 tubes. I have just received a Lighter Note LDR volume control to mess with, and have a pair of Lowther PM6A on the way - I think I'll try them in the baffles, maybe with some bass enhancement.
I could go on and on, but I am looking forward to reading about other people's stuff, and getting inspired to use my stuff more!
Oh, and one time way back Roscoe and I went to Katz's Deli after a NY NOIZE show - the one at Arlene's Grocery, I guess. Hi Roscoe!
Regards to all,
Pete
P.S. I know pics are desired. I'll look for some interesting ones.

Welcome Pete! As I recall, I bought a pair of Edgar bass horns from you way back... Never did use them, but I still have them.

I remember those! They're the ones that were pictured in SP, owned by a guy in NYC. I sold them to you because I never used them - now you're as bad as me!
Thanks for the welcome!

Hi Pete,

Nice to see you here! Cool hifi you've got there. :)

If Katz deli in the lower east side is still around I'll include that when I visit NYC for a trip down memory lane, yummy ;)

Welcome, Pete!

I too have lots of stuff I haven't gotten around to trying yet - I have speakers I haven't even hooked up once! I have to resolve that.

It's good to have another person jumping into the fray - we can inspire each other to dust things off and enjoy them!
