OK, my name's not really auser but I like the name. I'm a currently unemployed computer guy residing in the Manassas area. I like messing around with older audio equipment because they don't have any surface mount devices.

I know what you mean - I'm worried that pretty soon we won't be able to build or fix anything because we can't cut into the little carrier package, and they'll stop making resistors and capacitors, etc., that still have wire leads on them!
