This was my thought as well. Welcome to the group. I'm in Annandale. I don't speak tube, please don't hold that against me. You can get marginally good sound without glow lights in the room.

DaveR-

You have an email in your Inbox or Spam folder from me.

Can I modify my Dynaco A25s to DSP? Hmmm, the cabinets are in decent shape, just need the hardware.

I modified a couple of pairs years ago and would be happy to share my files with you.

You're probably one of the first to get the joke of my username on the first go-around.

We share the same sense of humor. Are you familiar with the audio company named Schitt? A British reviewer asked what that name represented, the manufacturer responded, ". . . just what you might think - scat."

Schitt just introduced a pair of headphones -- are you sitting down? Wait for it -- they named the headphones "Schitt Hedd." :o

miniDSP is a good place to start
https://www.minidsp.com/
you would remove the passive crossover and the minDSp goes between your preamp and power amps.
You will need amps for each speaker element ie for each tweeter andeach woofer.
Personally I would keep it passive and upgrade the caps and inductors and spend your monies on good electronics.

I you go the dsp crossover route make sure the dc offset on the tweeter amplifier is no more than a few millivolts.
