Hello!

I am Mike from Annapolis and was introduced to the group via Stuart and Guy initially bc of our Pontiac obsession, but also our love of good audio you can put together yourself.

My DIY journey started in the early 80s recording a lot of the shows I attended, and still do it occasionally to this day. I now have many cass & DAT decks that I learned how to work on myself and keep rolling so I can archive recordings. https://archive.org/details/@pooneil1

I love obsolete analog formats like cassette, Reels, ElCaset and 8-track and work on them regularly. Also a huge quad/surround fan. I think CDs will be the new "vinyls" that younger people love, so been upping my skills on the restoration of CD/DVD-A players

As much as I like vintage speakers, I know I can build better/smaller ones for my surround set up, so hopefully get some inspiration from the group
