If it starts working again, I can bring it to the next meet with both opamps.

Update:

I sent the 15sec audio clip of the distortion to Burson Audio sales couple of days ago. Their tech team determined the opamps are defective and they are cross shipping me the replacement. They asked me to ship by sea to save the shipping cost.. These opamps come with "lifetime" warranty.

Nice company.

Glad to here it was the opamps. That was easy. Burson is top notch on service, though shipping can be slow from Australia. I had an experience where I had ordered single opamps modules but they shipped dual opamps. I did not realize that initially, and found they did not work properly and set them aside. I later contacted them about it, and they shipped me the singles and told me to keep the dual opamps since it was their mistake.
