What are the chances?

Picked up a couple dozen records at a store in Manassas, Va. Started playing this $2 NM+ record and was instantly impressed with the sound. Took a look at the info and it was recorded in Manassas, Va in at the...... Manassas Jazz Festival in 1973? The album is comprised of three live recording sessions in the Osbourn High School, All Saints Cathlic Church and the Ramada Inn during the first week of Dec 1973.

Produced by Fat Cat Records, the recording quality rates from pretty darn good (Church and hotel) to fairly decent (High school).

Records are time machines, vinyl really captures the essence of a performance in a way that is almost magical.

Sweet! I've obtained vinyl goodies like that at antique shops and Good Will. Throw them into the ultrasonic cleaner and Voila' -- "new" old stock that gives constant pleasure,
