As in "you don't know shit from Shinola".

Shinola was a WWII era shoe polish, hence the expression.

A friend of a friend started building (not inexpensive) "Runwell" watches in Detroit.

He has expanded the product line to include a turntable. The Runwell of course. With help from VPI, another American turntable is for sale. This one has an integral phono preamp, sold with the cartridge, perfect for the upscale yuppie who is starting from scratch.

Made in America Vinyl to the Front MF! (My Friends!)

Watch the video, it's really cool!

Okay, so it's not a really high end table, it seems to fit nicely above the cheapo tables and the superb ones, bet it serves many a listener very nicely. Looks beautiful.

I wish them great success!

Stuart

You are right. The video is very well done and the turntable looks great. If Harry Weisfeld is involved performance should also be very good. Will you be getting one Stuart?

Anxious to hear your Schiit Roscoe. Will make the trek.

Tom, I already have a great turntable (although I'm having trouble with my speed controller. Probably building more heat than I planned for. SS has no sense of humor when it comes to that, as you well know). Another good one just isn't in the budget.

But there are some guys in our group who NEED one!

It is good to see anything that is carefully manufactured with pride in the good ol USA. Watches, Audio, car, bicycles (All of which I have some modest interest and involvment in), clothes, household items, tools, etc etc. Good luck, I hope they are successful with the TT. It is a nice looking unit and presumably fairly good sounding too.
