COOL! My left ear is bit off from flight-line noise. Even ear plugs aren't enough around eight Pratt & Whitneys when taxiing past.

Old fart audiophiles need good ears. Hmmm. I wonder if 19th-century ear horns are any good for audio?

Were we actually better off when we young and 20 khz was no problem to what we are now where hearing 13 khz can be problematic? If you can't hear a problem with a high frequency, it doesn't exist for you.

However, cures for tinnitus and deafness in either ear would be really helpful.
