If you visited the Bryston room at CAF you heard how good a tri-amped system and active crossover can sound, here the amps & xover are outboard.

I have a friend with good ears who liked the Bryston kit.
I did not have the time to listen.

tomp,
Thanks for being a listener! Always good to get feedback!

klh007,
Did not make it to the Bryston room this year. I have no doubt their modern digital filters sound very good. I know mine sounds really good! :)

The Bryston room souneded good to me with the exception of a heaviness in the mid bass. Probably another room effect.

Latest word on the 16 channel DSP crossover is that the code to talk between two ADSP21469 dspblok's is running and now checking all the intercommunication paths. All signal processing runs at floating point 40bit/192KHz.

The new DSP hardware also has the XMOS XU208 USB interface for DXD rates. Also get the ADC output available via USB for measurement capability for a balanced input mic system and the HiRez DAC's for signal generation.

This is going to be fun to play with! :)
