I am currently using one of Dave Berning's SET 300b OTL amplifiers in my system. I am curious if anyone has a pair of "in use" or "used" WE 300b tubes they would be willing to let me try out in the amp for a couple hours, "just to see". Not the NOS/NIB pair from 1940 you've been saving. I wouldn't do that either. :D

I've made several positive changes to the system since the last meeting here, and it sounds very good to me currently, and much better than the meet. Just curious how much better (different) it may sound with the WE tubes.

Thanks,
Jim
