So, this is what my living room looks like right now:

Probably be that way 'til about the 1st of August when the hardwood flooring goes in.

Then, I have to put everything back together, and re-tune the system for the essentially new room :handgestures-thumbdown:

Having no music sucks!

Do you have a good set of headphones? They might keep you from going over the edge in the meantime.

Being prior service, I have moved a total of 16 times since I was 18 so I know exactly what you are going through. Everyone always made fun of me when they came to the new place as after months there, still using paper plates, one towel, etc, but the Movie and Stereo Systems were both hooked up and working. My priorities were very clear lol.

I'd say a good set of headphones is an oxymoron ;)

I've been over the edge for years!

If you look, very carefully, at the tops of the two record racks, you'll see two small speakers. They're hooked up to a small powered sub that has build-in bi-amplification for the satellites... Doesn't sound all that great, but it's the system I'll be taking on vacation with me later this month. I got it out mostly to test it.... Pretty simple really, jRiver on a W8.1 tablet straight into the line ins on the sub.

I'm ex-Navy. Every time I moved the stereo was the last thing packed and the first thing unpacked (who wants to pack/unpack w/o music?).

Leash the robot, Roscoe. It's overrunning my in-box.
