I wonder if any of you have seen this link and whether you think it is possible

Also are SACD's significantly better than CD's?

If only. I have a buddy in Las Vegas with a nice high-end system that is open and musical. He has divorced himself from LPs and prefers SACD. During my my last visit we ran trials CD vs. SACD. Any differences noted were subtle at best and typically not discerned. It comes down to how the hardware deals with it. I've played with enough digital to know that all playback equipment is compromised in some way (regardless of price) either due to ignorance, incompetence, or "so-called" value engineering.

I didn't look at the link. I agree with Walt, chances are the differences between CD and SACD can only be heard on the most revealing systems and you may not prefer the so-called better source. That said, yes, it's possible and easy to rip and SACD to your computer.

I think humans perceive differences because they want to.

Exactly the reason I do double blind testing.
