The turntable is an old Pioneer automatic, so all this modifying is not in the big picture. Not sure when this old thing will give out. I am willing to get a decent cheap cartridge that I can hold onto. That's why I asked if someone had a decent cartridge laying around in their stash. I will even trade a Ametek Powervar power conditioner for it.

I have it mounted, and playing vinyl.

Any recommendations on what position to adjust the mount of it? Front/middle/back?

There are a whole bunch of downloadable & printable turntable alignment templates on the 'net. Pick one and use it.

Don't forget the to tape pennies on top of the tonearm.
