That makes me remember that somewhere in my house is a B&O stereo ribbon microphone I bought in the early 70's for $99.

WOW! It is essentially a ribbon version of the Blumlein pair array in one piece. Ribbon microphones are rare now and I would think that someone involved with recording would pay at least $500 if not more.
