In addition to the cables, USB has a + power wire and a ground wire. USB was designed to be a data communication nterface with can provide to client components. There are two types of USB cables, standard cables which can be used for data communications and charging and dedicated charging cables. In the later type of cables, data wires are not used.

This is one of “charging” type of usage, ie, two wire power cable with USB c endpoint. Like David said, they need beef up the power wire.

The more universal 240 watt SlimQ version comes with a coaxial DC connector as well as the USBA and USBC connectors. Will work with any device that has a coaxial DC connector as they are offering the adapters needed for most companies.

Just plug in what you have if you want a smaller replacement in the 94%+ efficiency range switching at far outside the audio band for the application.

Yeah, I am a BSEE and like DC power supply tech.
