If the drivers you're using were intended for subwoofer duty it really doesn't matter as you should always try both phase options when setting up subs. There are full range speaker systems whose woofers (by design) don't push out on a positive system charge and you might not know this until incorporating subs.


Interesting that Mr. Lansing arbitrarily chose positive to be in not out. Seems contrary to what makes sense to me, but that happens all the time. :mrgreen:

Like JBL, I'm not using binding posts for connections but Speakon connectors. I've been tempted to put two on to make it easy to invert phase but have not done it yet. Regardless, it seems odd that Dayton Audio/Parts-Express would make drivers that are not marked per current convention. The takeaway for me is to check everything.
