Don Keele inducted into NAMM Hall of Fame

February 14th, 2021, 8:28 am

For all you hornophiles out there it is interesting to note that Don Keele has been inducted into the NAMM Hall of Fame for his work on constant directivity horns. I have on occasion worked with Don on things ranging from his visit to my home for a the Prairie State Audio Construction Society meeting to the MWAF Speaker Design Competition. He is one of the most knowledgeable and friendly people in the industry.

He was also very helpful when I was building the CBT32K kit (he designed it) from Parts Express and we got into long email exchanges. A great guy.

His quasi-anechoic speaker measurements technique that MLSSA uses and many others, really made it a science and no need for an anechoic chamber. Well deserved accolades.
