I have some old discs that I believe have some files on them I'd like to retrieve. Unfortunately I no longer have a 5.25 in floppy drive. I do have a PC with the appropriate port. If you have a drive I can borrow, or a PC with a drive in it, please let me know.

Thanks,
Dave

I bought a USB floppy drive somewhat recently when I got curious about floppies I discovered around the house. Anyway, it doesn't get much use and I'd be happy to lend it to you if you'd like to send me your address.

On that note: I recently threw away some old documentation that came with an AST laptop that has been long gone broken.

One of the things was spare parts and accessories mail order guide. It was advertising a Zip Drive.

You have a 5.25 inch USB drive? I didn't think they made them. I'll send a PM.

Here's the PM I just sent Dave - I don't want to slow anybody down if they can help:
Hi Dave,
I'm in NJ. However, I'd better check when I get home because there's a chance that I'm a reading comprehension idiot. I think missed the 5.25 in your message. I will double check when I get home because I remember finding some of both sizes and it might be that I was thwarted when trying to find a drive for the bigger size. Sorry to get your hopes up - I'll double check and let you know.
Pete
