Post subject:  Computer question

I built a new system for the office a year ago.
It is an AMD Rysen 6 core Prossessor, 16 GB ram all latest top brand
Please no discussion about Intel vs AMD.
I’m an Intel person but I was going after performance and at the time this Rysen was the hottest
The video card is an Asus with 2GB. I think this is the weak point.
This was a good machine for PhotoShop but now that I am fooling around with video things are dragging.
My question is what do I do to get a bump.
Up the ram to 32 or 64GB or pull the trigger for a better video card.
I do not trust the guys at my micro center any more. They have sent me down a rabbit hole to many times

Exactly which Ryzen processor do you have? Some of them have extremely good builtin graphics.

For a image manipulation program like photoshop get a semi-decent nVidia or Radeon add-on video card with atleast 6GB memory and hardware acceleration. You wont regret it.

The cpu is a Rysen 5 without embedded graphics.
I am happy with photoshop performance what I need is better performance when dealing with video.
In postproduction sometimes you use multiple programs which all re-render the file.
For that little 12 minute video sometimes it took 10 minutes to process. I can see that as I get better at this and want to add effects and better titles this can take a lot of time.
I do not want to work at lower resolutions.

How much are you willing to spend for a graphics card?
