I ran an experiment. I had one hard drive with Ubuntu and one hard drive with Windows. Either drive boots when the drive is selected in BIOS. When Ubuntu boots, I see the option for Windows. I select it and it gives some kind or error, but then boots Windows. Anybody familiar with this? |

Try this. Boot into linux then run this command in a terminal - sudo update-grub |

That worked. I also had to fix the date and time. How do you change the user name and password? |
