The new LG OLEDs have great blacks also because you can totally turn off individual pixels.

I have that in the family room. LG OLEDs are out of this world.

I've been using a Roku for 2.5yrs, and quite happy with it. Spring for the 4K version even if your TV isn't 4K, it'll be snappier, and you'll be good to go when you get a 4K TV...

I was looking at that. How much is the service?

Roku doesn’t have any subscription fees, you’d only have to pay for the streaming services you want...

There are a couple of free services as well, and some of the pay services give some free access to their programs. We recently watched the Jordan documentary on ESPN (via Roku) without any trouble but a week later couldn't access the Armstrong documentary without membership.

This is the free service we use but I think there are others.
https://www.kanopy.com/

And as mentioned, some pay services will give you some content free. It may not be what you want to watch though. Free is free.

Average price of a service is probably $9-$15 per month. Check content so you get the one(s) you'll actually watch.

He posted the website, you can't go look? You might take a look at roku.com while you're at it....
