Standard listening room

After following the problems Paul is having getting the sound in his listening room to match the magic he heard at a show, perhaps we should think more about a standard listening room. Most of us can't have one, but if you had the space on your property to build one, what would it be? I was reading the following article and the idea came to me.

Tom provided a drawing of his special room design that will be in his new house that's under construction.

Not quite but it will have both absorption and diffusion at strategic locations.
