 Post subject: Jelco did not make it.

Tonearm manufacturer Jelco is no more. COVID-19 and aging staff plus tooling machinery that was also getting long in the tooth are blamed for this.

I picked up a 950S just for the hell of it, nothing much else around can equal the price/performance ratio of their arms so might be worth grabbing one of the remaining units before they are all gone.

Also sorry to here about Jelco going under. I picked up a 850L at the beginning of the year, so all set (though maybe should have gone for the 950L...too late now).

Pick up a couple of headshells (they make nice magnesium alloy with azimuth adjustablility), and perhaps a spare cueing dashpot since they supplied these for a number of tonearms. I believe my old JMW10 tonearm used a Jelco dashpot.
