If the Elinore speakers can truly 'disappear', we could put out two of the Echo / Alexa devices and we might think they are making all the noise.

I probably won't get them because I would lie awake at night wondering if they were set up with correct polarity.

As an IT professional, I’ll never have either one in my house..

Roscoe, can you please elaborate on why? There’s a lot of info out there but it’s hard to know the value of the sources.

A quick search revealed these alternate viewpoints.

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/09/04/ex-nsa-privacy-expert-how-likely-your-amazon-echo-is-to-be-hacked.html

Personally I don't like the idea of talking to a computer. With my IT background and aura the damn computer is supposed to sense what I want it to do.

Both are pretty useless widgets and a huge security and privacy risk. The will record all sounds in the home and upload to google/amazon if they are plugged in. Stay away from them.
