I found this, I sure most of the members are way beyond this info. But digging further into this website will reveal lots more info, although a bit dated

I have said many times that if a DIY'r gets a working understanding of basic electronics then that background will serve them in ways that can serve this hobby that cannot be predicted. :character-oldtimer:
