Saw this piece on the news this morning. They don't mention where to find these recordings, but if someone finds them, please let us know.

I had the privilege of listening to Itzhok Perlman play his Stradivarius violin at the Meyerhoff three times from a box seat right over the stage. Compared to other soloists with other violins, the difference was amazing. The Stradivarius not only had a BIG voice but it was sweet. Same goes with Yo-Yo Ma and his Stradivarius cello. Big and sweet. Both instruments dominated the stage in a way that is difficult to describe.
