Have a nice, relaxing holiday everyone. If you are lucky enough to be at home, it is a great day to sit back and listen to music. Unless, you are a masochist, in which case you can watch the train wreck that is the Redskins! :obscene-drinkingcheers:

Same here to all. I'll be putting the bird in the oven in a few hours. I'm in PA with family where I am probably welcomed because I do the turkey, two stuffings, and other sides. They probably would not let me in the door otherwise.

Happy Thanksgiving to all as well. We're in White Plains, NY where the temperature this AM is 18. No music listening here unless with ear buds or in the car. Sharon is making the stuffing with some home made sausage we picked up in Kentucky. It will be the highlight of the meal for me.

Have a happy to all
Turkey in the oven, we have to eat early because of other family stuff.
No football for me, just music playing in the background while I get all the other food cooking

Tom, cookies ought to be enough to get you in the door;)

I’ll be cooking all afternoon, Mom & my stepfather won’t be here until after 4PM, but at least I’ll be cooking to SE845s all afternoon

Happy Thanksgiving all!

Roscoe

not smoking Turkey this year.
too cold out side to get a reliable time to completion since I am on a tight schedule today. I did brine 48 hours this year just in time to find out that wet brining is falling out of favor.
I'm roasting the turkey upside down for the first two hours.

I did two pies yesterday, cherry and pumpkin.

I'm doing roasted garlic mash potatoes with blue chees crumbles, cornbread and sausage dressing. Green beans with carrots and chestnuts for the amateur eaters, and roasted Brussel sprouts, baked sweet potato for me
