I tried to improve the image contrast but still do not have clue as to what they expected to accomplish with that gimmick. It looks like some sort of hollow cup on either end of that gizmo. ??? :confusion-confused:

I hope by my posting this photo that you guys do not think I am advocating this thing. I just thought it was interesting that someone else thinks this was a good idea.

They look something like metal thimbles. You can get 30 thimbles from Amazon for $8.88 and scatter them around the DIY room.

They ain’t cheap. A set of 6 resonators is listed for $1950 on eBay

The design of the audio thimbles is far more complex than an ordinary thimble. Hence the price.
