If the amplifier is sold state the output impedance (equivalent circuit model) should be much less that the speaker impedance. Then the critical factor is the L/R of the speaker. Do you have the L and R parameters of your tweeter?

Impedance: 6 ohms and the Re is 5.80 ohms. Thats about all the info I can get.

The way to measure speaker inductance is to block the speaker (keep diaphragm from moving) and use an RLC meter at a frequency well above the resonant frequency of the speaker. See link for software RLC meter -
