Here are some pictures of the small open baffle planar speaker with a 3x8" servo sub array as stands.

This is one of my test baffles for the planars. The GR Neo3 and BG Neo10 are going to be installed for testing. Since there are new and old production Neo3's and Neo10's trying both to see if they are the same. The tweeters will be different, but the mids should be the same.

The planar mid and tweeter are wired and ready for testing. The 14awg polyolefin insulated wiring has been very easy to work with for the drivers.

Now to connect up to the Parasound A23 and see if we let out any magic smoke. If not, measurements.

Next is wire up the two 3x8" servo sub arrays and HX300 amps.

Got the Pocket CLIO measurement system and mic working with the open baffle planars.

Now to find a low reflection point in the room for some farfield measurements.

Did some measurements of both styles of BG planars in the open baffles. Nice day to be out for awhile.

Pictures of the modular 2x12 open baffle H-Frames servo sub cabinets dry fitted before packing and shipment to me for glue-up and speaker install.

Connectors and wire are here, so will be doing this after CAF2017 this week.

The weather was good today, so did measurement tests outside with the moded GR Neo3 and new production BG Neo10 on my test baffle.

These were far field gated time measurements on tweeter center axis using Pocket CLIO and calibrated mic.

Now to build a digital crossover and see what happens.

The two modular 2x12 ob H-frame flat packs arrive Friday to glue-up and install the servo drivers when I have them. This is much easier on my back than full cabinets when building and moving them.

Have the Neutrik Speakon 4-wire connectors and Belden wire to start the process.

The two 2x12 ob bass cabinets arrived today to glue-up.

These will probably get Duratex truck bed liner for a finish. Have some to try out. Not a textured surface, flat.

The 4 servo sub drivers are on order and coming next week.

The 4 - GR-Research SW-12-16FR servo drivers will be here tomorrow and then everything to build the OB servo subs will be ready.

Once the glue-up is done will see how much it will be to put Duratex or U-POL style finishes on them.
