It is official, the PE order for the Neo3-PDR's is cancelled. Called again today and it was moved to September. What a mess.

Greg is building the ribbon tweeter arrays and should be done around 3 weeks. Still in advance of the last PE timeframe.

Magnet material is in and the pole pieces are being fabricated. Once those are done, will be time for the ribbon tweeter build.

The 16 channel DSP digital crossover is progressing. The new motherboard is done that allows two 8 channel DSP boards to be connected. Firmware to run this version is in work. Once completed, they will be working on the ADSP21469 version of the DSP daughterboard needed to run the dual board version. The DSP daughterboard will have enough memory and throughput for things like extra delay time and impulse response correction.

No ETA, so doing another idea for the tweeter crossover until they are done.

Just for fun checked on the latest arrival date for BG drivers at PE. Now 9/1/16.

Will be interesting to see if the new Christie Digital Neo production planars are anything like the originals when folks get them.

The 8 ribbon tweeter arrays are completed and will ship to be here next week.

The 24 outlet BlunderBUSS is done and should be here this week.

Danville Signal is sending test code soon for the dspMusik RevD system to test with. The 16 channel version of the dspMusik is supposed to be 4Q '16.

Sometimes you just have to go away and let things happen.

The 8 - 20" ribbon arrays are complete and ship tomorrow. Once they get here next week will get them installed and start testing.

Will use a passive crossover on the tweeter arrays until the dspMusik 16 channel system is complete and ready to finish the beamforming crossover system.

The tracking info shows the 8 - 20" ribbon arrays will be here Wednesday. Unpacking instructions in hand for arrival.

This should be interesting!

The 8 - 20" ribbons arrived on schedule and first test fit of a single unit fits in the space and height to match up with the BG Neo10's.

Will be working on installing them over the next few weeks.

The new dspMusik RevD 8 channel digital crossover and HiRez DAC is here as well and will be doing listening with it in the setup.

All the 20 amp channels are complete and tested. Power conditioning arrived, so now it is time to install the tweeters and connect everything.

As with any of my wood projects, the tweeter array is to long for the slot.

Will remove the top headers and have to cut them down on both speakers. Looks like 1/2" and only 3/4" to the bolt holes, so hopefully no more wood removal and the tweeters fit.

Since the slots were sized for 22 BG Neo3-PDR tweeters, not to far off.
