Or generating your own AC with a much more stable frequency than the power company provides ;)

I like building stuff. At some point, enough is enough. I'll buy a tool, don't need to mine copper and grow semiconductor crystals.

Yep, David,
In my case I'm running a DC motor so I need to adjust to the correct speed. As designed, the motor controller should keep the motor at the right speed, and that is something I'll check over time. :)
