Been working on building a set of false walls to hang 2' x 2' acoustic diffusor panels. Did not want to mount them permanently on the existing wall, so this is a substitute. The hard foam panels were made by the P.I. Audio Group in New Mexico in boxes of 8 panels. They can be painted any color with Behr paints. These and the frames will be painted Behr Coffee color to match.

The panels are pairs that fit inside each other, so the different patterns. Will be using my second box of panels and swap around to make both sides with the opposite pattern.

Should be a big help with your room acoustics. I noticed the water stains on the floor. :(

Tom,
That is the garage floor and the stain was from a spill. My room is much worse than that.

Not sure yet what acoustic treatments in my room survived. Anything on the floor that is not metal or painted is toast, and that was most of the old treatments. :(

These will go in the smaller room that is dry on the other side of the house. It needs acoustic help and these should be fine with some free standing acoustic absorbers and bass traps.

If I can, will see about the Sonitus USA treatments. Depends on what happens in the room. UGH!!!
