Post subject:  Dual exhaust improves performance

I built these after doing zero research. They started as open baffle, no bass. I enclosed them, no bass. I did some research and found mh-audio.nl which has numerous on-line forumulas including one that allows you to set the size of a ported enclosure, it gives you the specs for the port(s) to tune the box. So these went from nothing useful below 200Hz to having usable extension down to about 45Hz. They sound great!

Love the Speakons. Does dual exhausts mean that they burp and fart at the same time? :crazy:

I heard them on Saturday, and the system sounded great. It is always a treat to go over to Dave’s and see the journey March on.
