I got it to work via USB bootable but somehow I am missing a step on loading it onto the hard drive.

Got it loaded.

No sound when song is playing via web interface audio player. Have sound via web interface file manager and via Windows Explorer network.

What audio player are you trying to use? Did you install the DLNA/UPnP plugin?

Daphiles's built-in one.

Do I need that plug-in?

No, not for the built-in player. What sound output are you trying to use--USB? In the main player window, did you select the playback device in the upper-right hand corner? (I think that's where it is...)

The output selection is on the lower right corner. There are also lots of selections for output parameters under settings. Not all of them are shown in the screen shot. I use it to drive the USB input to my DEQX Express II and it works very well.

Not hooked up to system yet. Logged in from my PC to that PC.

Need to reload music. I will hook up a USB Disc drive. When I load the CDs, is there a music file type I use?

You mean you are going to rip the CDs using Daphile? I would use standard FLAC at 5-6 compression. You can also play CDs directly through Daphile by loading the CD Player plugin.

The DACS are internal to the DEQX Express II that is my master control for both analog and digital input, crossover functions, time alignment, parametric EQ, etc.
