That would make sense; however, the playback through the mono cartridge created a solid central image between the speakers. Most impressive.

Life is stereo. I hear that fire truck drive by from one side to another. Or, I hear it on one side and hear the reflection from the building I am next too as I walk down the street.

I think you should do a mono setup. Dave Pogue probably has a ton of mono jazz and classical LPs, not to mention 78's. I've got a nice, lonley Patridge Williamson OPT here. ;-) If I were back east I'd bring these Peerless Williamsons for sure. I'll bet very few people have heard a true Williamson. They'd be amazed. Could be a great gimmick to draw people in. I mean, it's not like we're trying to sell anything, right?
