I ordered the rest of the parts.

10 crossover parts
2 bags of polyfill
2 binding posts instead of the spring loaded ones

Just a note on fill. I found that polyfill is reactive and nowhere near as effective as wool or fiberglass. I know you already ordered the polyfill, but I feel you'll get a better result if you use wool or fiberglass.

Fiberglass will not work in this application. Goal of the fill in this application is to dampen the resonances without hindering sound waves passing thru the transmission line. That needs playing around with the density and amount of the fill. Polifill is perfect for adjusting the density.

As is fiberglass and wool. ??? Polyfill is reactive -- meaning it does a mediocre job when the goal is to dampen. Stuffing pillows -- you bet. Most speaker manufacturers other than the anal high-end guys use polyfill because it is cheap and does not create issues that OSHA might be worried about.

I am not talking about ridged fiberglass, but the stuff similar to that used for attic insulation. There was a time where fiberglass was the material of choice for U.S. speaker manufacturers and wool the choice of U.K. manufacturers. Wool is still desired to this day -- fiberglass not so much. Fiberglass friable fibers get everywhere and it is always advisable to wear a face mask and clothes you won't mind throwing out if you get frisky with the stuff.

Another material that I found extremely good and easy to work with is raw cotton right off the plant. At one time fabric shops carried it. No more. You still may be able to obtain raw cotton on eBay. Given a choice between raw cotton and the others -- cotton goes to the top of my list.

These boards are what I used for the egg crossovers. They come in different colors and sizes and make placement of the individual components easy. You can also drill holes at the corners for spacers and screws to mount them inside the speaker cabinets.
