Downloaded it. I try to save it as Flak OR mP3, and it is asking for a "command line encoder"

Do I have to download encoders?

Tried Foobar and Exact Audio Copy. Can't seem to save as Flak.

Make your life easy. Here are the formats dB Poweramp supports without any hassles.

Search "Exact Audio Copy" on Google. You will see YouTube videos on how to Rip CDs to FLAC using Exact Audio Copy.

Remember, FLAC has different compression levels. Higher the compression, smaller the file size but the CPU has to work harder decompressing it. If storage space is not an issue, go with low compression.

EAC comes with several engines to download metadata. There is no one engine that works on all albums. Try each engine and choose the best for each album.

On a side project, can you install Daphile on an older PC?

Probably, but you may need to download the 32bit ISO depending on the old pc...

I know, I can't get the USB to load.

It's an old Asus motherboard with IDE drives and DDR1 memory.

Using the PC that Tom gave me, I installed a couple of drives, loaded Daphile, and started loading music. Now, I can't access this PC directly (disk mount fails - no such file or directory). I can access it via network and I am rescuing all the music.

Has Daphile crashed?

Roscoe is the expert. He helped me build that server.

I have two drives in the PC. No matter what drive I reload the software, it gives me a "boot media failure" after a reboot.
