Linux Mint & JRiver TTFMF!

I had a horrible time with Daphile despite hard work by Roscoe.

Good luck.

Daphile has been working for me fine once I replaced the PC. When I gave that old PC to Steve at the last meeting at Roscoe's I mentioned that it had occasional problems with the USB and network connections. That is why it was free but with the warnings. Since I got the Intel NUC I have had no issues with Daphile. I have also had very good luck with JRiver but remote connection to it is not as simple as with Daphile.

My main problem is I can't paste it on the second internal drive.

That's where I need to put certain music.

I can't help. I only have one internal drive and I can see it as a network drive from my laptop. Windows explorer on the laptop sees it fine and allows me to deal with it including copying as with any other network drive I have. That is how I loaded the internal drive on that PC in the first place.

This is how my network looks on Windows Explorer on my laptop. The music server is called PISSAROM and you can see the music folder underneath.

The file manager in daphile sucks.... It's probably easier to have daphile share the internal drive, and mount it on another computer and copy over the network...

Roscoe

Is there another software option?

I can't copy certain CDs. Is this some type of protection?
