Guy,
Thanks for the moral support, it is appreciated!

Plan in place to get clean-up and storage of stuff to get the rug and pad out. Cut back the dry wall to see what is going on at slab level. Then asses the problem or keep going to find it. Looks like the audio room is getting a make-over. Dumpster and POD for storage scheduled arrival day before clean-up. Now just hope things arrive on-time for the work. May is going to be busier than expected! :(

The Neutrik Speakon wiring for the last pair of 12in servo subs is ready to install in the sub modules for testing and listening.

The Magnetar II open baffles with the Radian LM10n planar driver are done.

Using the Danville Signal EA dspNexus 2x8 DSP processor for the crossover and sounds great!

This is setup in my smaller space downstairs as the listening room is completely gutted after the water leakage. It has been mitigated and corrections that should solve the problem are complete. Have to wait until another big rain for a test.

Next step with be Audio Room v2.0. That is going to take awhile.

At Lone Star Audio Fest (LSAF2023) in Dallas TX. In room 204 at the show hotel with the Magnetar II speaker system to demo for some DIY friends in the area.

Time for some music listening!

You could always build the cabinets out of marine plywood.

The other pair of baffles that are painted are made of MDX. Just not in the picture. They are sitting on the sub cabinets now for folks to see.

Having a great time at Lone Star Audio Fest with the Magnetar II's. The system sounds really good as a nearfield setup. The rooms are small and square! :o

Gary Gill stopped by and he said some rooms are still available for CAF2023. Will see what is possible.

Looks like HAL will be at CAF2023 in Nov. Talked to Gary and I have an idea for a different setup in that room.

Hope to see folks at CAF2023 for some listening. The dspNexus 2x8 will be a main part of the audio system for folks to hear.

Wanted to see if the new LM10n is physically the same size as the now unobtanium BG NEO10 planar. And it is! Drops in if you reorient the leads on the GR NEO3 tweeter 180 degrees.

Should sound even better than the BG NEO10 in the :) same speaker. Just a bit of offset between the LM10n and NEO3 drivers diaphrams, that is easy to correct with delay.

Guess I will call it Monoliths II! :)
